After training her own horses during 6 years as a Permit holder, Alexandra Rosa set up as a Public trainer at the beginning of 2018. After working as a consultant for 10 years, this choice is finally a logical come back to her roots as she graduated as an engineer in agronomics in the most prestigious French university.
Alexandra rode about 300 races in 15 years career, after years of competition in Eventing. She has about 15 winners. About races, she learnt a lot from Alain de Royer Dupré for whom she rode at the beginning of her amateur career.
She shares her life with Hubert Barbe, bloodstock agent for 25 years, after having assisted his father Jack Barbe - 6 times best NH trainer in the 80's. Hubert is actively part of the training operation next to Alexandra.
Together, they focus on offering a tailor-made training program to each of the horses they have in charge, young and older ones, NH or flat horses. They pay a strong attention to the care of the horses as they both believe that no detail can be left to chance when talking about the preparation of high-level athletes the horses are.
Alexandra and Hubert are both fluent in English.
